Better at Home Programs – Whalley

PICS: Better at Home is a program that helps seniors live in their own homes by providing simple nonmedical support services delivered by local non-profit organizations using a mix of paid workers and volunteers. Better at Home is funded by the Government of British Columbia and managed by the United Way of the Lower Mainland. The services provided by the Better at Home Program include: Friendly visiting, Housekeeping, Grocery shopping, Snow shoveling, Transportation, Minor home repairs, and Light yard work. IMPORTANT NOTE: The services identified above vary between locations and some may not be offered in your community. Please contact your local Better at Home Program to find out if the service is offered near you. COST: Some services identified are offered for free.
