Fraser River Counselling

Fraser River Counselling (FRC) offers a broad range of counselling services for the community. While under the supervision of a professional counsellor, practicum students from the Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology program at Trinity Western University deliver a range of clinical services for children, youth, and adults. Our counsellors are all graduate students who have considerable training in psychology and experience working in the helping profession. Counselling sessions are monitored by an experienced faculty supervisor. Our counsellors are available on Mondays and Wednesdays, in the afternoons and evenings. We have two offices located in Langley at the Trinity Western University Campus and at Nicomekl Elementary School. We also have one office in Abbotsford, at Abbotsford Senior Secondary School. There is a $20-$40 charge for counselling services per visit, depending on counsellor availability. In case of hardship this fee can be reduced or waived. Income generated from these fees goes directly towards enhancing the services offered to our clients, including increased intake and referral services and improved observation technology.
